Made of aluminum plate and comes to you raw, right out of the machine. You can paint, powder coat, or polish it but you don’t NEED to do anything because it is covered by your license plate, and because it’s aluminum, it will never rust!
LPM10-License Plate Mount / Fender Elimination for Yamaha V Star 950 replaces your stock plastic lower fender and plate mount with a slick, low profile plate mount that cleans up the look of your rear end.
Installation is as simple unbolting the plastic fender from your metal fender and bolting the LPM10 on in its place using the same nuts you removed, (see picture above). You will also need to disconnect the license plate light from the wire cluster under the chrome cover between the turn signals. There are several ways you can light up the plate such as adding LED plate bolts.
NO DRILLING or cutting required.
Slotted holes allow you to adjust how close the plate is to the fender to allow for plate frames of different sizes or none at all.
Licence plate chrome frame NOT included.
