Description
They are made of aluminum plate and come to you raw, right out of the machine. You can paint, powder coat, or polish them but you don’t NEED to do anything because they are covered by your license plate, and because it’s aluminum, it will never rust!
Available with or without cat eye brake light.
Licence plate and chrome frame are NOT included
The LPM3 License Plate Mount works for many applications by connecting to the lower shock bolt. It also has a slot to run a hose clamp through, to go around the shock for even more support. Use it on any application where you want to relocate a taillight and license plate off the fender such as a bobber or chopper or any custom.
Installation is as simple as removing your lower shock bolt, bolting on the LPM3 to EXISTING hole, with the existing bolts, bolting on a cay eye tail light and wiring. See Installation Instructions.
NO DRILLING required.
Slotted holes allow you to choose how low it hangs and how close the plate is to the light to allow for frames of different sizes or none at all.
Q. Does it come with the plate frame shown in the picture? A. NO
Q. Does it come with a tail light? A. You have your choice of cat eye or it can be purchased without any light.
NOTE: When installing the LPM3 do not use the washer that was on the shock bolt. The LPM3 takes the place of the stock washer.
